When it comes to landscaping - Jay is our man! He is a prime example of volunteer leadership here at 1st Assembly.  Jay sacrifices hours of his personal time throughout the year on behalf of our church grounds. Way to walk the talk Jay!

Wednesday, May 18th was our Annual Chuck Wagon Banquet. We celebrated our teachers, leaders and helpers, our children and youth, as well as the accomplishments of our students. We closed out another school season and are now ready to enter our Summer schedule. Some students will remain in their same class, whereas others will be moving onto new teachers and classes.  We are so excited for all of them!

We featured our new Mega Sports Camp (VBS) theme, "The Great Comeback" as well as the new t-shirt everyone will receive for participating.

We enjoyed wonderful food and deserts provided by many of our church family.  Much of the food preparation was done in large part by Sherry Brink, Vickie Fisher, Tammy Glenn and Dee Briles.  Many teenagers assisted as well. Pictures were provided by Mel Briles and special thanks to all our visitors, leaders and helpers for assisting us with tables and chairs. Thanks to all for helping us make this evening possible.  Thank you all so very much!!

We even sang a special Happy Birthday to Leader: Jeremy Seufert! Happy Birthday Jeremy!
