Many years ago, I had a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ and have never looked back! I purchased and read my first Bible and found myself in the midst of God’s huge plan! I still have to pinch myself; His love is so magnificent!  It is absolutely amazing that someone so sinful could be forgiven so graciously! It is so true: the person who is forgiven much (by the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ) loves (Him) much!

Things that I Enjoy: Waking early in the morning; Walking at the YMCA; Watching NASCAR races; Listening to Music of most genres; Reading. Studying the Bible. Flying Kites. Watching Movies. Talking for hours with my wife! I love to spend time with my boys. Visits with my Dad and brother Gary in Kansas are a special treat.

I'm Lee, I'm Your Buddy, I'm Here To Help! I am married to my college sweetheart, Kelly Havemeier.  We have three adorable daughters and enjoy all the memories and moments that come with having a family.  We are your "average joe" family. We love being outdoors, playing video games, going to the library, camping out, going on vacation, traveling and exploring new things. 

Individually, I enjoy shooting my bow, golfing with friends, running and weight training, messing with technology and spending time with my "Nerd" friends.  Theologically speaking, I believe and affirm everything that the Bible believes and affirms. I am passionate about the christian community at large and am always looking for new ways to create community.    I'm loving God, loving life and loving people right here in Atlantic, Iowa.

I'm Kelly Havemeier.  I have been assisting 1st Assembly with my Husband Lee Havemeier since August of 2007. I'm passionate about my relationship with Jesus Christ and the ministries of the Church.  I love spending time with my family and all the youth from 1st Assembly.  Our passion is Loving God, Loving Life and Loving People and this passion is contageous! I have been the Office Administrator here since 1986 and loving every moment of it.  I wear many hats here at 1st Assembly and I am always looking for a new one to add to my collection.

 I married the love of my life, David.   We have been blessed with a wonderful son, Matthew, a great daughter-in-law, Amanda and amazing grandson, Noah. 

 I like to take long drives with my hubby, garden, love outside or inside projects but, most of all I love being with my Grandson!

 You may ask, How can someone work at one place so long? -- it is because Loving God, Loving Life, Loving People is what Atlantic 1st Assembly is all about!  It is a great place to work & worship.

I have been a part of 1st Assembly for over 20 years. I am a cattle dealer and farmer. I love to buy and sell cattle, fish and I love my four grandchildren.  I made my personal decision to follow Christ here at 1st Assembly and I also married the Love of My Life, Pat Sorenson.  One thing I love about 1st Assembly is the love that people have for one another and for the Lord.
